New Patient Examinations

On your first visit to Peppermint Dental, a member of the team will welcome you into the practice, you will be asked to complete a medical history before being shown through to one of our treatment rooms. Here you will meet your new dentist and you will have the chance to share any pre-existing dental problems, discuss any specific anxieties you may have and explore your hopes and expectations for your smile.

When you are ready we will provide you with a detailed dental examination taken at your own individual pace - every patient is different and as such deserves to be treated as an individual. We may need to take radiographs but we will only do this if clinically necessary and with your consent. We understand that the care of a person as a whole is as important as the care and attention we give to their mouths.

General Family Dentistry

We carry out routine examinations, usually at six monthly intervals, where we will thoroughly examine your teeth, gums, jaw and surrounding soft tissues. During these check ups we will discuss any necessary treatments and can make appointments in the near future to carry these out.

If patients ever experience any problems between their routine examinations, a quick phone call is all it takes to arrange a suitable appointment.
